Before going further, step back and consider fully what you are doing. A dog is not a trial-run item. It is a sentient being that will not understand why it is once again being uprooted from its home. Nor will it understand that its family welcomed it into their home and then tired of it as they would another toy. When you invite a dog into your family, invite it as a real family member, not a passing fancy or a conversation piece...

Count on having your greyhound for another ten years. Count on spending a lot of money on food and veterinary bills. Count on spending every day feeding, walking, and cleaning up after your dog. Have you researched the greyhound breed to know the differences between them and other breeds of dog?
Please read and answer the following questions:
Can you commit to taking your greyhound outside four times a day in all types of weather?
Do you understand and agree that your greyhound will never be off a leash when in an unfenced area, anywhere at any time?
If you have cats or other small animals in your care, do you understand that YOU are responsible for their safety and that you must monitor ALL of your animals at all times until your greyhound gets acclimated?
Do you understand that your greyhound must reside only in the home’s living quarters and be kept indoors at all times with the exception of being outside only to relieve itself or travel with you?
Do you understand that, in the event your greyhound is lost, you will contact us immediately?
Do you understand that you must do alone training to help prevent your greyhound from suffering from separation anxiety?
Do you understand that a greyhound can live between 12-14 years and that we expect you to keep your greyhound thoughout its life span no matter what?
Are you willing to accept full responsibility for your greyhound for the rest of its life and take on all financial responsibilities?
Do you understand that our return policy is not structured to be a safety net for adopters, but as a means of looking out for the well being of the dog?
Do you understand and agree that if you do not meet the requirements set forth in the adoption contract (which you will sign prior to receiving your greyhound), that you may relinquish ownership of your greyhound to Fast Friends Greyhound Rescue, Inc?
