This is Al! The description calm old man suits him perfectly! He is a people dog and loves attention, pats and cuddles, as you can see, and lifting his leg for more please? He's a bit of an outdoors man so couch potato would be outdoor raised bed or lounge potato! He loves to make his bed sink in the middle, so it feels soft and enclosed. What's special about Al?
✔Al loves one-on-one time and to get all the attention so he is best suited as an only dog
✔ Al is a big smoocher
✔ Al likes to have people around but is ok for workers if he's had his exercise and can curl up on his bed until you get home, in a laundry, kennel space, outdoor laundry or covered area - his own safe space
✔Al is not shy and would be good for retirees/workers wanting a calm dog who can spend his day outdoors
✔Al doesn't need to go on walks (and pulls on the lead) so yard exercise and walks sniffing around would meet his needs
✔ Al needs cuddles when you get home!
✔ Al is happy alone, he is not cat friendly and while people calm and good with kids, he has a high prey drive so a fully enclosed house fence and/or large yard would be required, especially on a farm.
